MSU-Northern names football captains

HAVRE -- The Montana State University-Northern Lights football team announced its captains for 2020 season. The players voted on who they wanted for captains, selecting Joe Fehr, Brenden Medina, Marvin Williams and Justin Pfeifer.

Fehr, from Eureka, will be a senior defensive end. Last season he had 11 solo tackles and 17 assisted tackles.

Medina will be a redshirt-sophomore quarterback. He is from Sebastopol, Calif., and last season threw for more than 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Williams will be a senior wide receiver. He is from Puyallup, Wash. Last season he had 369 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Pfeifer, a Cut Bank product, will be a redshirt-junior defensive lineman. Last season he had 15 solo tackles and 29 assisted tackles.
