BUTTE — No. 4-seed Montana Tech and No. 5-seed Montana State University-Northern dueled it out at the HPER Complex on the campus of Montana Tech Tuesday night in the opening round of the 2020 Frontier Conference men's basketball playoffs.

The game mirrored the last time these two teams got together back on Feb. 13, where the Orediggers jumped out to a big lead in the first half and the Lights clawed back in the second half. And much like the 63-56 win for Northern weeks prior, Tuesday night's outcome was almost identical.

The Lights came out on top 66-59 ending a historic season for Montana Tech where it hosted its first playoff game since 1999.
