Montana Western takes down MSU-Northern in Lights' home opener 38-13

HAVRE — The 25th-ranked Montana Western Bulldogs rolled over Montana State University-Northern at Blue Pony Stadium in Havre on Saturday by a final score of 38-13.

Western built a 24-6 lead at halftime on the heels of two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown by quarterback Jon Jund. Jund added two more scoring tosses in the third quarter to finish the day with five total touchdowns.

Western moves to 2-0 on the season, and will visit Rocky Mountain College on Sept. 21. The Lights fall to 1-2 and will travel to Helena to face Carroll College on Sept. 21.
