Montana Western sweeps Frontier Conference volleyball players of the week

WHITEFISH – Montana Western student-athletes Jessie Weber, Tannah Sellers and McKenna Fink were selected Frontier Conference volleyball players of the week, the league announced Monday.

Attacker of the Week: Jessie Weber is a 5-foot-8 junior defensive specialist from Elburn, Ill. Montana Western went 3-1 at the Kansas Wesleyan tournament. The Bulldogs beat Kansas Wesleyan 3-2, Dakota State (S.D.) 3-2 and Friends University (Kan.) 3-1, and lost to No. 12 Columbia (Mo.) 3-0. Weber averaged 3.55 kills with a .362 attack percentage. She also averaged 2.29 kills and 3.41 digs per set.

Defender of the Week: Tannah Sellers, is a 5-foot-9 junior defensive specialist from Eden, Idaho. She averaged four digs per set at the Kansas Wesleyan tournament. She had a 92 percent serving percentage.

Setter of the Week: McKenna Fink is a 5-foot-8 junior setter from Highland, Calif. At the Kansas Wesleyan tournament, Fink averaged 4.35 assists per set.
