WHITEFISH -- Montana Western quarterback Jon Jund was named the Frontier Conference offensive football player of the week on Monday.

Jund helped the Bulldogs close out the season with a 69-29 win over Southern Oregon. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound sophomore completed 16 of 26 passes for 383 yards and five touchdowns. He also carried the ball 11 times for 88 yards and two more scores. It’s his third game of throwing for five touchdowns or more in a game and his second game with seven total touchdowns this season.

College of Idaho athletes Keagan McCoy and Kyle Mitchell were named the league's defensive and special teams player of the week, respectively. McCoy recorded a school-record five tackles-for-loss in the Yotes' 44-20 win over Montana State-Northern. He also recorded four solo tackles, four assisted tackles, and 4.5 quarterback sacks. Mitchell made all eight of his kicks against the Lights -- five point-after attempts and field goals of 24, 29 and 26 yards.
