Montana Tech volleyball downs MSU-Northern in 3 sets, completes sweep

HAVRE — Karina Mickelson leveled 10 kills and Maureen Jessop and Taylor Henley each had nine as the Montana Tech volleyball team swept MSU-Northern 25-16, 25-18, 25-19 on Saturday to complete a weekend sweep after defeating the Skylights 3-1 on Friday.

Tech improved to 6-8 overall while dropping Northern to 1-13.

Sydney Parks had six blocks for Tech, McKenna Kaelber had 31 assists and Maureen Jessop led the defense with 13 digs.

Northern's Elissa Lind led her team with nine kills, Shania Neubauer and Kaitlin Murdock each provided two aces and Tammy Maddock had a pair of blocks. Emily Feller supplied 22 assists and Rylee Burmester delivered 14 digs.

Tech hosts Providence next weekend while the Skylights host Carroll College.
