BUTTE - The No. 18 ranked Montana Tech Orediggers defeated the No. 16 ranked Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears in a three set sweep Saturday afternoon. Having won six straight conference matches earlier this season, the Battlin' Bears (17-10, 7-3 Frontier) were handed their third conference loss in an eight-day span.

Continuing their success in the second set, the Orediggers held the Battlin' Bears to just a .079 attack percentage and outscored Rocky 25-16. The Orediggers led the entirety of the third set to complete the sweep with a 25-21 win.
