BUTTE — A Frontier Conference volleyball doubleheader between Montana Tech and Montana Western scheduled for this weekend was canceled Wednesday morning due to COVID-19, both athletic departments announced.
The Orediggers and Bulldogs were set to square off in Dillon on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.
Tech (6-10 overall) will now close out the regular season at home against Carroll College on April 1-2 while Western (3-13) will play Providence on the road the same days. The first round of the Frontier Conference Playoffs will take place April 6.
