BUTTE -- Montana Tech head football coach Kyle Samson released the Orediggers' updated 2020 fall schedule following last week's Frontier Conference meetings.

Tech, like the rest of the league, will play an eight-game conference schedule beginning on Sept. 12. Each team will play four games before enjoying a bye week, then finish the season with four contests. Those qualifying for the playoffs will receive another open week on Nov. 14 before the postseason begins on Nov. 21. Each team will open and conclude the conference season against the same opponent.

The Orediggers' annual Copper Game will welcome the MSU-Northern Lights to kick off Samson's first official season as head coach. Tech then travels to Eastern Oregon on Sept. 19 before returning to Butte to face Carroll College the following weekend. The Orediggers end the first half of the season at the defending league champion College of Idaho on Oct. 3.

Following the Oct. 10 bye, Tech hosts Southern Oregon, travels to Rocky, welcomes Montana Western and finishes the year against MSU-Northern.

All game times are yet to be determined.
