DILLON -- University of Montana Western head women's basketball coach Lindsay Woolley has announced the signing of Kalispell Glacier High School's Emma Anderson to an NAIA National Letter of Intent.

Anderson is a 6-foot-2 forward and an all-conference selection. As a junior she averaged eight points, seven rebounds and a steal per game, helping lead the Wolfpack to fourth-place finish at the Western AA divisional tournament and an appearance in the consolation round before the state tournament was canceled. She also plays volleyball and softball, where she earned all-conference honors.

"I am excited Emma chose to join our program," Woolley said. "She is an outstanding student with goals of becoming an educator. Emma has great athleticism, an excellent touch and a good skill set. Her best days are ahead of her and we are excited to watch her develop at Montana Western."

The academic all-state and Honor Roll student-athlete is the daughter of Jonathan and Lora Anderson. She plans on majoring in elementary education at Montana Western.
