BILLINGS - Rocky Mountain College head men's basketball coach Bill Dreikosen has announced that Jhamad Norwood has signed a letter of intent to join the program in the fall.

Norwood joins the Battlin' Bears after playing for Santa Monica College. The six-foot-five-inch forward averaged 12 points and 8.5 rebounds per game as a Corsair. While averaging four offensive rebounds per game, Norwood posted numerous games of 20-plus points and ten-plus rebounds.

"Jhamad is a great addition to our team. We are excited about him joining our program," said Dreikosen. "His ability to score and rebound the basketball at a high level along with his versatility will be an immediate impact to our program."

Norwood attended Hamilton High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He will major in health and human performance with a concentration in exercise science while at Rocky Mountain College.
