GREAT FALLS -- The University of Providence men's basketball team announced the signing of Tanner Goligoski Friday afternoon.

Goligoski, who spent last season at Rocky Mountain College, is originally from Hamilton. As a senior with the Broncs, he averaged 20.7 points per game while shooting 57 percent from the field and 42 percent from beyond the arc. He holds the record at Hamilton High School in career 3-pointers, single-season 3-pointers and single-game 3-pointers, and is a member of the 1,000-point club. He was named both first-team all-state and all-conference twice.

Goligoski was also named to the honor roll three times and was also named academic all-state three times. He is also a member of the National Honors Society.

"We are excited to add Tanner to our Argo basketball program," head coach Steve Keller said. "Tanner is a pure 3-point shooter with great range. We look forward to watching his progress at UP."
