Carroll College women's soccer falls 1-0 to Eastern Oregon in first round of CCC tourney

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- The Carroll College women's soccer team's season ended on Tuesday in the first round of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament, as the Fighting Saints fell 1-0 to No. 2-seed Eastern Oregon, 1-0, in Springfield, Oregon.

Kaitlyn McLeod of EOU hit the game game-winner in the 67th minute.

EOU outshot the Saints 22-8, including a 13-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Saints goalkeeper Sydney Green recorded eight save son the save.

The Saints finish the season with a record of 9-7-2 overall.
