WHITEFISH -- Carroll College cross country coach Shannon Flynn was named Frontier Conference coach of the year in her first year at the helm, while freshman Reghan Worley and junior Kendyl Pierson earned all-conference honors, the Frontier announced on Monday.

Worley was the top finisher for the Saints at the Frontier Conference Championships last weekend in Billings. Worley took second in a time of 18 minutes, 48.7 seconds.

Pierson also cracked the top five, finishing fourth in a time of 19:06.6.

As a team, the women and men both placed third.

Flynn is in her first season as the Saints' head coach. She came over to Carroll after assisting at the University of Montana and helped the program move forward.

Also on Monday, the NAIA released its latest top-25 ranking, placing the Carroll women at No. 21. The Saints were previously ranked No. 17.

Carroll College will learn exactly who qualifies for nationals sometime this week.
