Carroll College's Jovan Sljivancanin wins 5th Frontier Conference player of the week award

HELENA -- As the No. 23-ranked Carroll College men's basketball team continues its hot start, the personal accolades continue to roll in.

Fighting Saints sophomore wing Jovan Sljivancanin earned his fifth Frontier Conference player of the week award after Carroll (13-3, 4-0 Frontier Conference) put together an impressive road win over Montana State-Northern and then dealt No. 7 Providence its first loss of the season.

The 6-foot-5 player from Belgrade, Serbia, averaged 17.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and one steal over the two victories. On the season, Sljivancanin is No. 4 in the NAIA in rebounding, averaging 10.6 boards per game.

The Fighting Saints travel to Billings on Wednesday to face Rocky Mountain College and then host Montana Western in the PE Center on Friday.
