KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Carroll College women and Providence men held steady in the latest NAIA basketball polls, which were released Wednesday.

The Carroll women are still sit just outside the top five at No. 6. The Fighting Saints are 17-2 this season and currently own a six-game win streak, their second streak of the season at least that long. They also won their first seven games to open the season. The Saints' scheduled Frontier Conference games with Providence this weekend have been canceled due to COVID-19. Instead, Carroll will host Rocky Mountain College for a pair of non-conference games.

Providence's men, meanwhile, are ranked 10th after a 10-1 start to their season. The Argos didn't tip off their 2020-21 campaign until January and have had three games canceled because of COVID-19. They're currently riding a four-game win streak heading into Wednesday night's game at MSU-Northern. The Lights handed Providence its only loss of the season, 96-85, on Jan. 30.

No other Frontier Conference teams appear in either the men's or women's rankings, though the Montana Western and Providence women and Carroll men are among those receiving votes.
