Carroll College men's basketball downs Walla Walla 84-49

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Dane Warp scored 25 points in 25 minutes and the Carroll College Fighting Saints defeated Walla Walla University 84-49 on Thursday in Washington.

Warp went 8-for-17 from the field, including 7-for-11 from beyond the arc and added four assists on the evening to lead all scorers.

Also cracking double figures for the Saints (3-0) were Jovan Sljivancanin (19) and Brendan Temple (11).

The Wolves (2-3) were led by Zayne Browning’s 13 points.

The Saints took a 43-21 lead into halftime and came out and kept scoring. Carroll shot 43 percent from the field, 36 percent from the three-point line and 77 percent from the foul line.

The Saints next play in Fullerton, California, against Hope International on Nov. 23 and then Westmont on Nov. 25.
