Carroll College men roll past Dickinson State

HELENA -- The Carroll College Fighting Saints men’s basketball team scored an impressive 81-59 over Dickinson State on Saturday in Dickinson, North Dakota.

Jovan Sljivancanin had a game-high 22 points and added eight rebounds, while freshman Gui Pedra had a career-high 18 points and seven rebounds. Also cracking double figures for the Saints were Shamrock Campbell with 15 and Brendan Temple with 14.

The Saints took a 22-point lead into halftime, and then battled evenly with the Blue Hawks in the second half to maintain their comfortable lead.

The Saints shot 57 percent from the field and 65 percent from deep in the win.

DSU had a team-high 14 points from Trey Hladky.

The Saints (3-2) next play on Dec. 31 at Montana Tech.
