BOZEMAN — Montana State, the 2024 Big Sky Conference football champion, started its title defense on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The fourth-ranked Bobcats (2-2 overall) welcomed longtime rival Eastern Washington (1-3) to Bobcat Stadium for the Big Sky opener for both teams. MSU entered Saturday's contest having won its past two games, while the Eagles got their first win of the season last week.
