MCC volleyball signs Canadian hitter

MCC Pioneer Volleyball Coach Chase Soennichsen announced the signing of Weyburn, Saskatchewan volleyball standout Jacey Rowland to a NJCAA Letter of Intent.

Rowland is a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Weyburn Comprehensive School and is the daughter of Rod & Pam Rowland. Rowland had a serving average of 88 percent and attack percentage of .470. She was also an honor roll student at Weyburn.

Rowland on why she chose Miles: "Miles was a very easy decision for me. the support system from the college students, staff, and the community members seems solid. I am very excited to play the sport I love and further my academics in Nursing. Go Pioneers."
