MILES CITY -- Kirsten Klompien, a 5-foot-10 middle blocker from Three Forks, has signed to join the 2020 Miles Community College volleyball team. The daughter of Nathan Klompien plans to major in Agriculture Business and Management.

Klompien was second-team all-conference, leading her team in blocks and kills. Over the course of her senior year she racked up 26 aces and 39 solo blocks. She was a member of the 2017-18 district champs and divisional runner-up team as well as being part of a second-place finish in districts in 2018-19.

"I have always wanted to play volleyball in college. I want to stay close to home for now but not attend a large university. I have heard a lot of good things about MCC and the program," Klompien said. "I am excited to take my skills to the next level and see where my love for the game will take me next."
