Miles Community College's Gedeon Buzangu signs with Idaho State

MILES CITY -- Gedeon Buzangu, a 6-foot-8 forward who has spent the past two seasons at Miles Community College has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Idaho State.

Buzangu averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game last season for the Pioneers and finished his junior college career as a two-time first-team all-conference selection in the MonDak Conference. He was also a two-time all-Region XIII player.

Buzangu joins an Idaho State program that went 8-22 last season. The Bengals were 4-16 in the Big Sky Conference, finishing last in the league. But they upset sixth-seeded Northern Arizona in the first round of the conference tournament before it was canceled prior to the quarterfinal games on March 12.
