Miles Community College volleyball drops 2nd straight

WILLISTON, N.D. -- The Miles Community College volleyball team got off to a hot start and won Game 1 25-20, but Williston State rallied to win the next three games and send the Pioneers back to Miles City with two consecutive losses.

Samantha Bonenberger had 36 assists and three aces on the night. Olivia Easton had 15 kills, Matilda Dietz collected 21 digs, and Hailee Kuske accounted for three blocks at the net.

The Pioneers fell to 7-11 overall and 2-3 in the MonDak Conference and sit in fourth place in the conference standings. Next up for the Pioneers are home matches on Monday, Sept. 30 against the Dickinson State JV and then Wednesday, Oct. 2 against rival Dawson CC.
