Dawson Community College swept by North Dakota teams

GLENDIVE - Dawson Community College dropped a pair of Mon-Dak Conference matches this week in North Dakota.

The Lady Bucs played Lake Region State College in Devils Lake on Tuesday and lost 25-13, 25-21, and 25-18. Leaders in kills were Harlee Speth with six and Anniekate Burghduff with five. Speth also had 13 digs while Kinzee Koch and Anniekate Burghduff each added five. Nynah Bryant led the way in assists with 14.

The Bucs then traveled to Wahpeton, North Dakota on Wednesday losing in straight sets to North Dakota State College of Science, 25-14, 25-19, and 25-16.

Speth was the leader in kills with nine. Kiana Miller contributed five. Bryant had 16 assists four digs. Koch led the way in digs with 12.

The Buccaneer Volleyball team travels to Billings on Monday for a match against Rocky Mountain College's JV at 5 p.m. They play at Bismarck State College on Wednesday at 7 p.m. They'll close the week traveling back to Devils Lake for a tournament on October 18-19.
