GLENDIVE - Dawson Community College head softball coach Jim LeProwse is pleased to announce the signing of Bradie Strang from Fort Collins High School in Fort Collins, Colo.

"Bradie is a pure power pitcher. She came to Dawson for a visit and workout recently, and impressed us coaches right from her first pitch," said LeProwse. "We had her on the radar gun at 61-63 MPH and she still has a huge upside from there. She locates her pitches very well and has a great changeup. Bradie will definitely be a dominant force in the circle for us next season. She is a very fierce competitor and has a huge drive to win. Bradie is also a power hitter.

"I may have been just as impressed with her bat as I was with her pitching," LeProwse continued. "Bradie Strang is the exact type of player that we strive to recruit every year. It will be a lot of fun to watch her get compete in the next couple of years as a Lady Buccaneer. Bradie will definitely do great things in her two years at Dawson."
