GLENDIVE - Balanced scoring allowed Dawson Community College to create a lead midway through the first half, and the Bucs never looked back.
They held the visitors without scoring for the next five minutes and then only one point over the next four minutes. The Bucs went from being down 12-9 to holding a commanding 34-13 lead with their 22-4 run.
Five Buccaneers were in double digits scoring, but the defense was not lacking either, as they forced 32 turnovers for the game. The Buccaneers kept their lead by shooting well from the free-throw line, going 26/30.
