GLENDIVE - Dawson Community College head softball coach Jim LeProwse has announced the addition of two players.

Madison Piercy from Thunder Basin High School in Gillette, Wyoming, and Angel Montoya from Cyprus High School in Sandy, Utah, and will join the Bucs.

Piercy is a tall, athletic player who excels as a pitcher/infield/outfield. She has home run power, brings pitching velocity and hits her spots well, according to LeProwse.

"The thing that stands out to me the most with Madi is her tough mentality and drive to win," said LeProwse. "Madison is a great addition to Dawson from the state of Wyoming to our DCC Softball Program. I expect her to come in and dominate right away. It is very exciting to see such great softball athletes coming out of the state of Wyoming."

Montoya is a corner infielder and catcher who also hits well to all fields. She is also a player who has home run power. She signs coming in with very good arm strength, blocks the ball well and has a great glove.

"She will fit very well into our system here at Dawson," LeProwse said. "Angel is another great addition from the state of Utah for our DCC Softball Program. I am extremely happy that Angel has chosen to continue her education and play softball at Dawson. She will make an immediate impact in our program."
