GLENDIVE - The Dawson Community College volleyball women handled the Lake Region Lady Royals on Saturday 25-12, 25-23 and 25-16 improving to 3-2 on the season after dropping their first two matches.
“I am so proud of how the girls are coming along right now," said head coach Dina Fritz. "It’s hard when you are playing so many games in a row and practices are limited but these girls are bouncing back each game and preparing mentally and physically for the next.”
Stat leaders for the game were Logan Stetzner and Seeara Wojtczak with 8 kills, followed closely behind by Haydin Henschel with 6 and Nicole Green with 5. Green also led the team in digs with 7 and Henschel was right behind with 6. Block leader for the night was Wojtczak with 2. Shelby Fronk led the team in assists with 20 and Wojtczak led the team in aces with 3.
The Lady Bucs are back at home on Tuesday night against the Bismarck State Mystics at 7 p.m.
