MISSOULA — The recognition for Missoula Sentinel's Dylan Rollins continued this week as the senior was named the Montana Football Player of the Year by MaxPreps.

MaxPreps has named a recipient of the award each year dating back to 2006. Rollins was also named an honorable mention All-American by Sports Illustrated back in December.

The 6-foot-5, three-star offensive lineman drew national attention from Power 5 conference football programs during Sentinel's 10-0 state title run and ultimately decided to attend BYU next fall.

Rollins, who played an integral role in the Spartans' dominant offense that scored 45.2 points per game, was named all-state as a lineman.

According to MaxPreps, Rollins is the first FBS recruit to come out of Montana since 2013.
