GREAT FALLS — Isaiah Claunch found Neil Daily through the air three times, Michael Deleon rushed for two scores and the defense was sturdy as Billings West beat Great Falls CMR 41-0 at Memorial Stadium on Friday.

After the teams traded punts for most of the first quarter, Jaymn Medlock started the scoring for the Golden Bears with a 1-yard TD run at the end of the quarter. A bad snap during a CMR punt formation gave West good field position, and Deleon scored from five yards out. Then the Bears moved to an air attack, as Claunch hit Daily on a 74-yard pass and then

"I'm on cloud nine, if you will. Everything's rolling. The line is blocking, receivers are catching. It's just good stuff," Claunch said. "With all the hard work that we've put in and then it finally comes out to two wins, it feels great."

Turnovers plagued the Rustlers, as quarterback Raef Newbrough threw an interception to Max Kimball on CMR's opening drive.

Billings West moves to 2-0 and will play at Bozeman Gallatin next week. CMR falls to 1-1 and travels to Billings Skyview next week.
