DILLON -- Jace Klucewich made an early statement Friday night.

The Frenchtown junior scored four touchdowns in helping the Broncs to a thrilling, double-overtime Western A football win at Dillon.

Klucewich scored two first-quarter touchdowns to help Frenchtown to a 14-7 lead the Broncs would carry into the halftime break. Dillon tied it in the third quarter on a Peter Gibson touchdown run, but Klucewich quickly gave the lead back to the Broncs, who would take a 21-14 advantage into the fourth.

Dillon, again, would rally to tie the game at 21 early in the fourth quarter, and neither was able to tack on more points in regulation. The Beavers missed a field goal attempt as time expired, which sent the game to overtime.

Frenchtown started the OT period with the ball but lost yardage on its first possession, ultimately missing a long field goal attempt. Dillon was able to move the ball on its possession, but the Beavers were stopped on a fourth-and-goal play to force a second overtime.

Dillon got the ball first in the second overtime and this time was able to put three points on the board with a field goal. That wouldn't be enough, though, as Klucewich scored his final touchdown on a fourth-down attempt from the 2-yard line, securing the win for the Broncs.

Frenchtown (1-0) next plays Butte Central, while Dillon (0-1) travels to Stevensville.
