The 6-Man North and South divisions are turning their schedules to their sub-division playoffs this week.

The North will send five teams to the 6-Man state playoffs, which are slated to begin the weekend of Nov. 1, with five games over the next two weeks determining those seeds. This week, Geraldine-Highwood will play at North Star and Valier will travel to Denton-Geyser-Stanford in the first round of games that have seeding implications. Next week, the winners of those two games will meet to determine the North's No. 3 and 4 seeds for the state playoffs, while the losers will play to determine the fifth seed.

Unbeaten Power-Dutton-Brady will host undefeated Big Sandy in the de facto conference championship next weekend. The winner of that game will be the North's No. 1 seed for the state playoffs, while the loser will be the North's second seed.

Shields Valley and Bridger will also play next weekend to determine the South's top two seeds for the state playoffs. The South gets four teams in the state bracket, and the other two teams will ultimately come from this weekend's Harlowton-Ryegate/Custer-Hysham and Fromberg/Roy-Winifred matchups. The winners from those two games will play next weekend to finalize the South's third and fourth seeds for the state playoffs.
