BOZEMAN — This Saturday, Montana State may be facing the toughest Montana squad they’ve seen all year. The Grizzlies have won nine consecutive games and currently sit at the top of the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball standings.
However, Montana’s hot streak doesn’t intimidate the Bobcats.
“The game is always fun, usually comes down to the last couple minutes, so (we’re) just hoping to bring a lot of energy, knowing the fans aren’t going to be cheering for us over there,” said MSU senior Sam Neumann.
“The core group of guys, they’ve been together for a while now, and they’ve been through it all. You know, they went to the tournament last year and they know what it takes,” said MSU senior Harald Frey. “Just the continuity, they know what it takes, they’ve been there before. They’re reigning champions, so until someone knocks them off, they’re the team to beat.”
