BOZEMAN – Rodeo fans were in for a treat Thursday night as they dodged the snowy weather to watch the Montana State Spring Rodeo inside the warm confines of Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

And the Bobcats protected their home turf.

Montana State’s Carson King had the fastest time in steer wrestling, posting a 7.5-second run. King also won the night in team roping with partner Wyatt King of Montana Western, roping the calf in 6.5 seconds. Bobcat senior Keenan Reinhardt shined in saddle bronc, sitting in first place with a 69-point run on Thursday. In bull riding, MSU’s Wylee Hurst ended the night tied for first with Northwestern College’s Caleb McMillian with a score of 70 points.

The rodeo action continues again on Friday at 7 p.m.
