BOZEMAN — Adrian Torrico and Joaquim Espinoza earned three-set singles victories but it wasn’t enough for Montana State, as the Cats fell to in-state rival Montana 4-3 in non-conference men’s tennis action on Friday.

The Bobcats grabbed the doubles point, but could only win the two singles matches. “It was a tough fight and Montana is a very good team,” Bobcat coach Jared Burnham said. “Adrian and Joaquim really played well, and I liked the way we fought in doubles.”

Burnham also announced that because of road and travel conditions Saturday’s match against Idaho will be postponed to a later date.
