BOZEMAN – A great offseason for the Montana State football program just keeps getting better. The Bobcats added two more recruits on Tuesday.

The first is Pierce DeVaughn, a 6-foot-4 defensive end out of Plano, Texas. He gave a verbal commitment to MSU after visiting Bozeman last weekend, according to Skyline Sports. He chose the Bobcats over offers from Army and Central Arkansas.

The next commitment comes from Gregory Filer, a cornerback out of Compton Community College. He’s ranked as the 33rd-best cornerback in JUCO football by GridironRR. He prepped at Paramount High, the same high school as Cats running back Edward Vander. Filer had 39 tackles, five interceptions and one forced fumble this year.
