Montana Football Hall of Fame induction set for March 24

BILLINGS – The Montana Football Hall of Fame will induct its latest class on March 24 in Billings.

The group will be honoring the Petrino family coaching circle, as well. Bob Petrino Sr., (Putter), Bobby Petrino, Paul Petrino, Mark Samson, Kyle Samson, Jason Petrino, and other family members will be featured.

Hall of Fame inductees include Doug Betters, Rocky Klever, Guy Bingham, Sam McCullum, Corey Widmer and Casey Fitzsimmons. In the support category, Sam Jankovich will also be inducted into this class. Two deceased players to be inducted are Terry Dillon, who followed a career at UM with the Minnesota Vikings, and Bill Glennon, who started at Billings Central High School before attending the University of Washington and joining the Pittsburgh Steelers.

HOF members Jan Stenerud, Tuff Harris, Mitch Donahue, Pete Lazetich, Brian Salonen, Dwan Edwards, Kane Ione and Tim Hauck have all been invited back to support this year’s class of inductees at the Red Lion Hotel in Billings.

Morgan Stanley will again host a VIP night March 23 to make inductees available to table and program sponsors.
