BILLINGS – Billings Senior won the Battle of the Broncs Friday night.

The Senior girls got a game-high 21 points from Kola Bad Bear in a 49-30 win over Sheridan in Billings, while Senior’s boys ended Sheridan’s four-game winning streak 56-45 in Wyoming.

Sheridan took a 12-9 lead early in the second quarter of the girls game, but a Senior run spanning both side of halftime put them ahead for good. Senior moves to 5-1 overall on the year, including 1-0 in the Eastern AA. They go to Bozeman Saturday.

The boys’ lead was just 40-36 after three quarters before Senior ballooned it double digits with just over three minutes to play. Connor Kieckbusch and Braxton Haws combined for 32 points in the win.

Senior is now 5-2, 1-0 on the year. Their next game is against Billings West next Thursday.
