GREAT FALLS – Representing Class AA on the East side, Great Falls CMR fans should have a very happy holiday with quarterback Garrison Rothwell, center Gerrit Bloemendall, and cornerback Damien Nelson all making the cut.

It’s also beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Great Falls High, as safety Kevin Boes gets the nod.

For the West side, it’s sure no silent night for Helena Capital as Kyle Mihelish will coach the West. The Bruins have five players making the Shrine Game roster, including three from the offensive line, center Conor Quick, guard Carson Shuman, and tackle Trevor Welnel, plus running back Seth Schneider and defensive lineman Justin Jenks.

Moving back to the East side, it’s the most wonderful time of the year for Browning fans, as Brandon Aimsback on the defensive line represents Class A.

For Class B, Shelby fans will sing jingle all the way with quarterback Aaron White making the cut, and Fairfield fans will be as happy as Frosty the Snowman with linebacker Griffin Lee out there in July repping the Eagles.

No Grinch is stealing Keagan Stroop’s Christmas as he’ll be in the Shrine Game as a wide receiver from the 8-Man Belt Huskies.

Finally for 6-Man, Sunburst fans will be jingle bell rocking all over the place now that they’ve heard tight end Treyton Pickering will be there for the Refiners.

The East-West Shrine game will be played on July 21 at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls.
