WHITEFISH — Carroll College senior guard Ryan Imhoff was named the Frontier Conference men’s basketball player of the week, the league announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot-6 Imhoff helped the Saints, who have climbed to No. 4 in the NAIA top 25 rankings, keep their perfect record intact with wins over Bethesda College, No. 11 Vanguard and Westcliff during a three-game swing through California.

Imhoff averaged 21.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.7 steals in the three games, making 25 of 36 field goal attempts (69 percent). He made all three of his 3-point attempts and was 12 of 15 at the free throw line.

Imhoff, who earned all-American honors as a junior, is averaging 20.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.9 steals per game this season.

The 12-0 Saints return to the court on Dec. 28 with a home game against the University of Calgary. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the PE Center.

Jansen Edmiston of Lewis-Clark State College was named the conference’s women’s basketball player of the week after recording a stat line of 19 points, two rebounds, eight assists and five steals in the Warriors’ win over Salish-Kootenia College.
