LAUREL – The Laurel Lady Locomotives jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead and survived a second-half Hardin rally for the 55-43 win on Thursday night.

The Lady Bulldogs climbed to within three points in the second half before Aspen Cotter took control and put the game out of reach.

Laurel improved to 3-4 on the young season with the victory.

The boys took the court right after with Hardin putting its undefeated record on the line.

Laurel took a 38-37 lead into the break, but the Bulldogs scored 40 points in the second half to claim the 77-73 win.

The Bulldogs are now 5-0 on the season.
