High school basketball games involving teams from northwest Montana have been canceled Tuesday night. Heavy snowfall has caused poor road conditions in the Flathead Valley, and the forecast calls for more of the same throughout the evening.
Whitefish and Frenchtown postponed their games. The boys were scheduled to play in Frenchtown with the girls playing in Whitefish. Frenchtown athletic director Kipp Lewis said there is a tentative plan to make up the games on Monday, Jan. 29.
Bigfork also canceled their home boys and girls doubleheader versus Missoula Loyola. Bigfork announced on its Twitter account that the games will be made up on Feb. 16.
