GREAT FALLS — The Bozeman wrestling team claimed the team title at the CMR Holiday Classic in Great Falls, amassing 230.5 team points to finish ahead of Billings Senior (192 points) and Great Falls High (189.5).

The Hawks placed four wrestlers in the championship round and received two wins from Leif Schroeder (126) and Brandon Cooper (182). Billings Senior had a big day with four individual state champs in Alejandro Madrid (103), Matthew DeWitt (120), Charlie Klepps (132) and Jarret Leinwand (205).

The Class B Colstrip Colts finished in fourth place and also had four individual champions in Jackson Currier (138), Ty Bradley (152), Nakoda Siegel (170) and Merlin Whitedirt (285).

Lewistown’s Cooper Birdwell claimed the 113 pound title, Great Falls High’s Jordan Komac repeated as champion at 160 pounds and Michael Weber of Forsyth claimed the 145 title by injury forfeit.
