BILLINGS – The first #1 play of the season might end up being the best play of the entire year.

Shepherd’s Jake Trotter stole a Missoula Loyola pass, spun around a defender and hit a half-court heave at the first quarter buzzer to put his name atop the early “Plays of the Year” list.

Two Skyview Falcons also made the cut, plus a dazzling dribbling display from a Billings Senior Bronc, and the first of likely many appearances from some impressive sophomore twins at Billings West.
