PABLO — The Montana Western men and women have faced Salish Kootenai College twice this young season, and both games have produced similar results: blowout wins decided in the first half.

The men went well over the century mark in a 126-69 victory. Dom Robinson led the Bulldogs with 19 points and was one of eight Western players to score in double figures. Derreck Durocher was second in scoring with 17 points.

Like the men, the women cruised to an 87-29 win. The ladies gave up no more than 10 points in a single quarter, and, after the first period, the Bulldogs surrendered just 20 points to Salish Kootenai. Brianna King led all scorers with 18 points, scoring all 18 in the first half. She also had nine rebounds.

The Western men improve to 8-1, while the women improve to 8-2 on the season. The men take a week off before heading to Chandler, Ariz. for the Cactus Classic, while the women play a pair of games in California later this week.
