MISSOULA — Bobby Hauck had a huge smile on his face when he took over as Montana head football coach for a second time. Then he immediately got to work.
Just two days after his introductory press conference in Missoula, Hauck made a recruiting trip to northwest Montana. He and Grizzly assistant Justin Green snapped a picture with Eureka star quarterback and safety Garrett Graves. Graves posted it on Twitter.

Montana also received a verbal commitment from Turner’s Wolfpack teammate, tight end Max Morris.
Missola Sentinel wide receiver Nick Germer also told MTN Sports Monday he still plans to attend Montana.
The other five Montanans who gave verbal commitments to the Griz have not confirmed their future plans, although Billings Senior star receiver Gabe Sulser and Valier tight end Colten Curry both re-tweeted the celebratory news from UM that Hauck was hired.
There is a new early signing period this year, so recruits can make their decisions official on Dec. 20.
