BOZEMAN – A former Bozeman High basketball star is making waves in the Frontier Conference.

Former Hawks guard Adame Huse, a sophomore at MSU Northern, is becoming one of the Lights’ best young talents. On Friday, Huse scored 13 points to help lead his team to a 145-46 victory over Salish Kootenai. It’s the most points ever scored by the Lights. Huse has had strong family ties in basketball — growing up his father was the coach at MSU. And now he’s playing under another relative.

“It’s been a great great situation for him. He’s playing for his uncle, which is the coach now,” said Adam’s father Brad. “And he’s held him accountable and really challenged him and Adam’s game has grown a lot in the last two years. A lot of that is just maturity. But he really enjoys Havre and enjoys being at Northern.”
