Valier placed five players on the 6-Man North all-conference team, which was announced Monday.

Trever VandenBos, Dylan Monroe, Wacey Running Crane, Colten Curry and Koltin Christiaens earned all-conference honors for the Panthers, who took an undefeated record into the state playoffs. Valier lost to Westby-Grenora in the semifinals last weekend.

Big Sandy, which finished second in the North, had just two players recognized with all-conference honors: Weston Allderdice and Duke Darlington.

Geraldine-Highwood and Sunburst finished third and fourth in the league, respectively, qualifying for the state playoffs. Both lost in the first round.

Joey Hale, Zeke Davison, JR Spencer and Mavrick McKinlay represented the Rivals on the all-conference team, while Treyton Pickering and Christian Bloch were the Refiners’ selections.

Power-Dutton-Brady’s Javy Somerfield and Dominik Dunk and North Star’s Dylan Miller completed the all-conference selections.
