BOZEMAN — Make it championship No. 10 for coach Iona Stookey and the Huntley Project Red Devils.

Huntley Project dominated the Class B state volleyball tournament, capping its run with a 25-17, 25-22, 25-20 win over Florence in the championship match Saturday at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

Alana Graves (14), Kamille Reynolds (10) and Mollee Krum (nine) combined for 33 kills, and Heidi Cranford (21) and Addy Hultgren (17) combined for 38 assists for the Red Devils in the championship win. Graves added two blocks, and Reynolds had 18 digs. Maggie Taylor contributed 17 digs and one ace, while Hultgren had 11 digs and one ace.

Huntley Project didn’t lose a set the entire tournament, winning its 10th State B title since 2003. It’s the Red Devils’ first championship since 2013.

Florence battled back to the championship through the consolation bracket after losing its first-round match on Thursday. The Falcons defeated Joliet 25-18, 20-25, 16-25, 25-21, 15-11 in Saturday’s third-place match to clinch a berth in the championship.

Florence’s Sarah Hopcroft had 17 kills and two aces in the loss.
