BILLINGS – Billings Senior looks ready for the all-class state cross country meet.

In their final tuneup, the Broncs swept the individual and team titles at the Billings city meet Thursday at Riverfront Park.

Defending State AA champion Tiahna Vladic won the girls varsity race by more than a minute, finishing in 17 minutes, 41.90 seconds. Senior teammate Jaylyn Hallgrimson crossed the line in second at 19:01.75, with the Broncs’ Elena Vandersloot finishing third in 19:11.40.

Senior placed five runners in the top eight to win the team title with 20 points. West was second 41, with Skyview in third at 71.

Senior’s Ethan Wilson won the boys race in 16:20.31. Wilson was one of four Broncs in the top five finishers as Senior claimed the team crown over West, 29 to 44. Skyview finished third with 50 points.

The all-class state meet is Saturday, Oct. 21 in Helena at the Bill Roberts golf course. The AA boys will race at 1:40 p.m., with the girls set for the final race of the meet at 2:45 p.m.
